Why It Matters Who You Trust With Your Printing

Printing is easy these days.

You can jump online, upload a file, click order, and a few days later it arrives at your door. Simple. Convenient. Done. But here’s the thing just because you can print it, doesn’t mean you should print it that way.

Hi, I’m Lorrayne from BLAK Print, and I want to talk about why working with a small, personal print company actually matters for your brand.

The big print companies will print whatever you send them. This model of uploading a file and hitting pay has a place, don't get me wrong! but what happens when you get it and your logo is too small, if the placement looks awkward, if the resolution isn’t strong enough, or if you’re wasting valuable space?

We don’t and WONT work like that.

If you ask our opinion, we’ll give it to you honestly. And sometimes, even if you don’t ask we’ll still tell you. Not to be difficult. Not to overstep. But because we genuinely care about how your brand shows up in the world.

When you’re printing banners, marquees, t-shirts, footy shorts, posters, brochures you’re not just producing merchandise. You’re creating visibility. You’re building recognition. You’re shaping first impressions.

And space is prime real estate.

The back of a shirt. The sleeve. The side wall of a marquee. The bottom third of a banner. These are opportunities. If there’s wasted space in your design, we’ll talk you through it. If your logo could be stronger, bigger, or positioned better, we’ll show you how.

Because if you’re investing money into print, you deserve to maximise it.

We also have honest conversations about what you’re printing on. Not every fabric suits every purpose. Not every print method delivers the same finish or durability. Sometimes what looks good on a screen won’t translate well in real life and that’s something you only learn with experience.

Our job isn’t just to press “print.” Our job is to guide you.

Working with a small print company means you’re dealing with real people who take the time to look at your artwork, understand your goals, and think about how the final product will actually perform. Over time, that relationship becomes valuable. We get to know your brand, your audience, and what you’re trying to achieve.

And here’s the thing, we want your brand to shine. Not just be printed. Not just be “good enough.” But to stand out, feel professional, and represent you properly.

So if you’re ever unsure about a design, a placement, a product, or even an idea, ask us. We’ll tell you honestly.

And if we see something that could be better, we’ll tell you that too.

Because your brand deserves more than just ink on fabric.

It deserves care and lets be honest your finished project reflects on our brand as well!
